I recently created a Ventoy USB drive with multiple Linux distributions to try out on my laptop. If I find a distro that I like, can I completely remove Windows and install my chosen distro directly from the live environment using Ventoy? Or will I need a separate USB drive without Ventoy for the installation? Thanks for your help!

Thanks, everyone! I just went ahead and installed Ubuntu after removing Windows. Had some hiccups at first, like forgetting to disable secure boot, but now I’m all set!
Absolutely! I've done it several times. Just boot up from Ventoy, select your distro, and you can install it onto your machine without any extra USB drives needed.
When you're in the live environment, there should be an option to install the distro you choose. Just keep an eye out for that!
Yes, you can definitely install a Linux distro directly from Ventoy. It's designed to allow for real installations right from the USB stick without any issues.

That's awesome! If you get a chance, try out Fedora too—it's pretty great!
