Can I Install Windows 11 on My Xbox?

I'm curious if it's possible to install Windows 11 on an Xbox. I've heard that you can run older versions like Windows 98 on it, which lets you access the internet. If that's the case, why couldn't I just upgrade through the versions, all the way to Windows 11? I'm specifically asking about the Xbox Series X/S here.

Honestly, the main issue is that the Xbox's CPU is pretty old and doesn't have what it takes to run Windows 11. It just won't support the requirements for modern systems.

That makes sense! Plus, the original specs can't handle a 64-bit OS or UEFI booting, right?

I've watched someone upgrade from Windows 1.0 to Windows 10 in a virtual machine. It was a wild ride! The Xbox has limited RAM though, so good luck running newer versions; you might get stuck at Windows XP or Vista. Those versions had lower memory requirements, so you might be able to make that work.

You could definitely try! While I'm not sure how it'll perform, testing it would be interesting. Just be careful—back up your data before you mess with any settings!

For sure! I can't wait to hear how it goes. It'll be epic if it works without any issues.
