I recently got a Corsair RM1000e PSU for my build but realized the Power Color Red Devil 9070 XT requires three 8-pin connectors and my PSU only provides two, along with one split cable. I've read that it's best to use three separate cables, so I ordered some additional red and black cables from Corsair's Amazon store, but it turns out they only come with two as well. Is it okay to mix and match these cables to connect my GPU? Since they're all from the same brand, that should be alright, right? Or should I just stick with one uniform type?

Yeah, you should be fine mixing cables as long as they have the correct pin layout. Just make sure to check Corsair’s compatibility list to avoid any issues!
Since both cable types are type 4, they can definitely be mixed. Just a heads up, Corsair PSUs can provide up to 300W per 8-pin, so you could actually use 2 cables along with 1 in a daisy chain for a total of 600W. That’s why they can sell a 600W 12VHPWR with just 2x8 pin cables!
So, can I replace the 2 separate cables with the 12VHPWR to 2x8 pin adapter? I’ve heard mixed things about that.

I just checked the list and it doesn’t look too promising. Let me look into it more.
