Hey everyone! I've got 2x8GB RAM sticks currently installed in my PC in slots 2 and 4. I'm thinking about adding another set of 2x8GB RAM from the same brand and frequency, but with slightly different timings, and putting those in slots 1 and 3. My question is, will this setup affect my computer's performance or lead to any issues? I believe I'm running in dual-channel mode right now. Appreciate any insights!

What type of RAM are you working with, DDR4 or DDR5? It's important for compatibility.
Honestly, for the best performance, it might be smarter to just get a matched set of 2x16GB sticks instead. You can often find good deals on used RAM online.
You might run into issues even mixing RAM kits that are the same model. Sometimes it leads to boot failures or other problems. Just a heads up!
Mixing RAM sticks, even if they seem to match, can definitely introduce some instability in your system. It's best to stick with identical kits if you can.

I'm using DDR4 at 3200MHz CL16.
