I currently have 32GB of Kingston ValueRAM rated at 3200MHz and CL19. I'm planning to use my computer for animation and would like 64GB, but I'm working with a limited budget. Would adding a Kingston Fury kit with the same capacity and specifications work alongside my existing memory? If 32GB is too expensive, would adding a 16GB module be a reasonable option?

It will probably work, especially if the kits have matching capacity, speed, timings, and voltage, but mixing separate memory kits is never guaranteed. The system may run everything at the slowest module’s settings, and you might need to enable the rated speed manually or leave it at the motherboard’s default settings. Test the system with a memory diagnostic after installing it.
The brand does not have to be identical, although matching the specifications is helpful. A 16GB module can sometimes be added, but uneven capacities may prevent ideal dual-channel operation, depending on the motherboard. For animation, a matched 2x32GB kit is the most reliable option, while adding another compatible 32GB kit is a reasonable budget upgrade if you accept some compatibility risk.
So mixing kits is somewhat of a gamble, and I may need to run them at a lower speed if the system is unstable?
