I have a quick question regarding my 9070XT Nitro+ Sapphire GPU. I'm wondering if I can use one of the traditional PCIe cables (8-pin) along with the new 12V 2x8 cable to fully power the GPU. Is this a trustworthy setup, or should I stick to a single type of cable?

You’ll want to use the specific cables that your GPU requires. Mixing cables isn't recommended since different cables can supply different levels of power.

I get that, but the GPU has a fixed cable with 3 x 8-pin PCIe slots. I'm just curious if combining two different types from the same PSU could work without issues.
