Can I Mix RAM from Different Brands in My New PC Build?

I'm in the process of building a new PC and ordered almost everything from BestBuy. The only thing that's delayed is the RAM, which won't arrive until next week. To get things rolling, I plan to buy a 2x16GB RAM kit from Amazon that should arrive tomorrow morning.

Once the Best Buy RAM arrives, which is a 2x32GB kit, I'm wondering if I can use both sets together, or if mixing them will cause problems. Should I just wait for the Best Buy RAM or would it be okay to use both? I'm leaning towards the 2x16GB because it's cheaper and I want to start using my PC right away!

**Best Buy RAM:** 2x32GB Model: CMH64GX5M2B6000Z40
**Amazon RAM:** 2x16GB Model: CMH32GX5M2B6000C40

**Motherboard:** MSI - MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI (Socket AM5)
**CPU:** AMD - Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core - 24-Thread 4.7 GHz (5.6 GHz Max Boost)

Honestly, it might be better to just stick with the RAM from Best Buy. Mixing different RAM sizes and speeds can lead to issues, especially on AM5 boards where using four sticks can be tricky. You're more likely to run into problems getting everything to POST and run properly at the same speeds. Waiting for the Best Buy RAM might save you a lot of headaches!

So should I just return the Best Buy RAM? I don’t want to deal with complications.
