I'm really tired of using Windows and considering making the switch to Linux, but I'm heavily addicted to Rainbow Six Siege. I've heard there are compatibility issues with the game's anti-cheat system that could potentially lead to false bans. Since Siege is basically the only game I play, switching to Linux wouldn't make sense if I can't play it. Is there any way to get it working on Linux?

I'd suggest considering dual booting. You can keep Linux as your main system and just boot into Windows when you want to play Siege. Running a Windows VM won't work because of anti-cheat issues, so dual booting might be your best bet!
Unfortunately, if Rainbow Six Siege is a top priority for you, it's best to stick with Windows for now. It’s unlikely to become compatible anytime soon since Ubisoft doesn't seem to care about supporting Linux.

Yeah, if you really want to play, dual booting sounds like the way to go! Just make sure to choose a good distro.
