Hey everyone! I'm using an eSIM and don't have a physical SIM card at all. I'm curious if I can just pop out the SIM card tray for fun. Will my phone still function without that physical component in place? I'm not talking about just removing a physical SIM card, but actually ditching the whole tray.

Throwing away the tray might not be the best move. It could expose your phone to a lot of debris and moisture that can mess things up!
Sure, if you want to take out the tray! But remember, it might help with cooling because it lets air in and out, although it could also let in some unwanted guests like dust and lint! Just a thought, lol.
Absolutely, it will still operate without the tray! But don’t forget, it won't be good for the phone's internals. You might risk allowing dust and moisture inside which can lead to problems later.
Yes, definitely! The tray isn't necessary if you're only using an eSIM. But honestly, why would you want to leave that opening exposed? It could let dirt and water get into your phone.
You can totally remove the tray! The hardware won’t be affected, so your phone will still work fine. Just keep in mind, it might let more dust and moisture in, so that's something to consider.
