Can I Remove the SIM Card Tray if I'm Using eSIM?

Hey everyone! I'm using an eSIM and don't have a physical SIM card at all. I'm curious if I can just pop out the SIM card tray for fun. Will my phone still function without that physical component in place? I'm not talking about just removing a physical SIM card, but actually ditching the whole tray.

You can totally remove the tray! The hardware won’t be affected, so your phone will still work fine. Just keep in mind, it might let more dust and moisture in, so that's something to consider.
