I'm tired of dealing with stick drift and want to know whether the standard analog sticks in my controller can be replaced with Hall-effect sensor modules. Is this possible on a PS5 controller, and would the upgrade make stick drift nearly impossible?

It’s possible with certain controllers, but compatibility depends on the circuit board and whether a matching Hall-effect replacement module is available. The installation normally requires soldering, desoldering the original sticks, and calibrating the new ones. Hall-effect modules greatly reduce traditional wear-related drift, but they don’t make drift completely impossible—calibration issues, faulty parts, or other hardware problems can still cause it.
