Can I RMA a Motherboard with a Bent Pin?

Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building my new PC, and during the POST test, I noticed the red CPU light was on. After taking everything apart, I found a bent pin in the AM5 socket right in the middle. I'm not sure how it happened since I didn't drop anything or mishandle it. I was wondering if it's possible to return the motherboard to Amazon, or will they just reject my request? It's only one pin, and I'm hesitant to try bending it back myself. Any advice?

If you're not comfortable bending the pin back yourself, you have a couple of options. You can either file for an RMA with the manufacturer, which they'll fix for you, or just send it back to Amazon and see what they say.

I decided to take a chance and carefully bent the pin back using a pin. It looks fine now, but I'm still getting that pesky red CPU light. I’m thinking of assembling everything and booting into the BIOS to check for any errors. My motherboard is a Gigabyte B850 AORUS, so fingers crossed!
