I'm using LMDE 7 and would like to run iOS apps on it. Is there any compatibility layer, emulator, or other practical method for doing that?

Not really. There isn’t a mature compatibility layer for running iOS apps on Linux. The closest project is Darling, but it targets macOS software and currently has very limited support for graphical applications, so it won’t provide a practical way to run iOS apps.
That’s disappointing—I was mainly hoping to run a music studio app on Linux.
