Can I Schedule My Xiaomi Router to Turn On and Off Without My Phone?

Hey everyone! I just got a Xiaomi AX3000T router and installed the Xiaomi Home app to manage it. I want to set it to turn off at midnight and back on at 6 AM. My question is: if I set this schedule in the app, will the router still turn off at midnight even if I'm not home, or does my phone need to be connected for it to work? I saw the scheduling feature is part of the router's settings, so I'm hoping it can do this on its own. Any insights?

Just a heads up—if the router is off, you'll lose access to it completely. You might want to consider just disabling specific services instead of turning the whole router off at night. What's your reason for wanting to switch it off?

Once you schedule the on/off times via the Xiaomi Home app, the router should manage those settings by itself, without needing your phone to be around. Since this feature is included in the firmware, it's set in the router's memory. So, no worries—your router will act based on its own timer!
