I'm trying to figure out if I can connect my PC to the internet through my Xbox via Ethernet. My PC doesn't have a Wi-Fi receiver, and our new modem is set up in the living room, making it impossible to run an Ethernet cable to it. Is there a way to use the Xbox to share its Wi-Fi connection with my PC?

If your PC and Xbox are close, you might want to get a mini switch. It can help you connect multiple devices without a mess.
Why not just pick up a Wi-Fi dongle for your PC? It's a solid long-term solution and won't break the bank.
A powerline adapter could be an option too, especially if running cables is too inconvenient. Just plug it in and connect!
Have you thought about just moving the modem back to its previous location? It might make things easier than trying to set up a complicated network.
