Hey everyone! I'm putting together a new PC build and need some advice. I have a second 2TB NVMe SSD from my gaming laptop that has all my Steam games on it. I plan to install a fresh SSD with Windows on my new PC and want to know if I can just plug in my old SSD into the spare M.2 slot without messing anything up. Will it work? Thanks for any tips!

You should be good to go as long as the SSD is free of any other important data, and your games don't have complicated dependencies. Just point Steam to the game folder once you install it in the new PC.

Thanks for the heads-up! Just to clarify, I do have some other files on that SSD, like games from Epic and GOG, plus a downloads folder with various stuff. Do you think I should just delete those before transferring, or will they be fine?
