I'm considering using the CORSAIR Vengeance DDR5 RAM (32GB, 2x16GB, 6400MHz CL36) in my build, which includes an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X and an Asus TUF GAMING B650-E motherboard. I got this RAM kit for a good price. Is it possible to run it at a lower speed of 6000MHz instead of its max speed? Does anyone have experience with this?

Absolutely! You can enable the XMP (or EXPO for AMD) profile in your BIOS and then manually set the RAM speed to 6000MHz. That's a common practice if you want to optimize stability or performance without pushing your hardware to the limit.

Thanks! I wasn't sure about the XMP vs. EXPO thing since I'm using AMD. Good to know!
