Can I use a Bluetooth USB dongle alongside my built-in Bluetooth on my PC?

I'm wondering if adding a Bluetooth USB dongle, like one from TP-Link, to my PC that already has built-in Bluetooth will cause any conflicts. Can I use them both at the same time, or will the dongle just replace the built-in adapter? Also, will adding the dongle increase the number of devices I can connect? My PC is running Windows 11, by the way.

This seems like a waste of time and cash to me...😓💔

Why do you need to connect more devices? I've had four Bluetooth devices connected without any issues. How many are you trying to hook up?

I was just curious about that! My Bluetooth toggle vanished from settings and was hidden in the device manager, so I ordered a dongle just in case. But it's actually working again today after I tried a couple of fixes.

Windows can only utilize one Bluetooth adapter at a time, so adding a dongle won't actually increase the number of devices you can connect. It typically just takes over from your built-in adapter instead of working alongside it.
