I'm transitioning to SMTP2GO and I'm hoping to implement role-based access using Entra for Single Sign-On (SSO). My focus isn't on SSO for client SMTP sessions, but rather on managing admin and user access to the control panel. I want to avoid the hassle of keeping track of static accounts for this access. I've been reading through their help articles but haven't found any information on this capability. I did notice an Enterprise App listed for SMTP2GO in Entra, but it doesn't support SCIM, which isn't a dealbreaker for my needs. Does anyone know if this setup is possible?

I see where you're coming from, but I'm not sure you really need to pursue that route. If you're looking for high volume email services, you might want to check out M365 or Azure Communication Services. They can be set up quickly and are cost-effective without sending your data outside your organization.
Exactly, and many companies still depend on solutions like SMTP2GO for that flexibility.
From what I know, SMTP2GO lacks native support for modern authentication methods like OAuth. The 'Enterprise App' you see in Entra is more of a generic listing. So basically, no Entra SSO for the control panel, and you'll be managing accounts manually.
Unfortunately, it looks like SSO isn't an option here. SMTP2GO doesn't support traditional SSO protocols like SAML or OIDC, so you'll be limited to username/password authentication or IP-based access.

It's true that new alternatives are available, but the Marketing team often wants tools like email tracking that SMTP2GO provides. That's why they're looking into it.
