Can I Use My Old SSD and HDD in a New PC Without Data Loss?

I'm currently building a new PC and I want to use my old SSD and HDD in this setup. My plan is to install a new NVMe drive to serve as the boot drive. I'm just concerned about keeping all my existing data intact while making this transition. I've never done an upgrade like this before, especially since my old PC is still working fine, and I really don't want to risk losing any data in the process.

You can definitely connect your old drives and access the data on them! Just make sure to wait until after you've installed Windows on your new PC. Keep those old drives disconnected during the Windows installation to avoid any mix-ups.

That'll work, but do you have BitLocker enabled on those drives? If so, you'll need to have your recovery key to access the data later. Otherwise, you're good to go!

I have BitLocker off, actually. Never enabled it.
