I recently purchased a 5070 Ti gaming trio OC and I'm using an RM850x PSU from 2021. The PSU has two 8-pin (6+2) PCIe cables, and each of these cables has a pigtail with an additional 8-pin connector. I'm wondering if I can plug these cables into the adapter that comes with the GPU. Has anyone tried this? I've also ordered the 2 8-pin to 1 12VHPWR connector, but I want to know if I can use both of my current cables along with one of the pigtails for now.

The 5070 Ti adapter actually requires three 8-pin connectors, so using just your two cables and one pigtail won’t meet the power requirements. It's best to stick to the proper setup to ensure stability. You might want to wait for the 2 to 1 connector you ordered.
