I just received my new Asus RX 9070 XT, but my 850W power supply is still on its way. Right now, I'm using a 650W Seasonic Focus GX-650W Gold. Is it safe to try out the new GPU with this 650W PSU? I also have only 2 PCIe cables and I've read that it's better to use 3 separate cables for maximum safety. What are the risks if I use the 650W PSU and daisy chain one of the cables? My current CPU is a Ryzen 5 3600.

I’ve been running mine on a 650W PSU with no issues! After a few days, I set a -10% power limit just to play it safe, and honestly, it barely impacts performance while giving me peace of mind.
Just curious, what CPU are you using?
It should work just fine! Worst case scenario, your computer might shut off if it isn't getting enough power, but I doubt you'll run into that issue. Seasonic power supplies are known for their quality and reliability, so you should be in good shape.
