I've been noticing a growing number of AI-generated posts and AI-promoted repositories. Could the moderation team enforce Rule 9 more consistently? I'm concerned that an increasing amount of low-effort AI content will make the community less useful and eventually push people to leave.

Have you reported the posts that seem to break the rule? Reporting specific examples is more likely to get results than making a general complaint.
Moderators generally rely on user reports rather than monitoring every post around the clock. If you see content that appears to violate Rule 9, report it so the moderators can review it. They’ll decide whether it should be removed, since some reports are also made simply because a post mentions AI.
Downvoting can help signal that people don’t want to see a post, but the rules still matter. The issue isn’t necessarily whether AI was involved at all; relevance, quality, and whether the post is low-effort are important too.
Exactly. AI-generated material isn’t automatically relevant or acceptable, and unrelated code wouldn’t belong there even if a person wrote every line themselves.

The example about sharing unrelated generated code doesn’t really apply. Content still has to fit the topic and follow the community’s rules, regardless of whether AI was used.
