Can someone check my first PC build for 3D modeling and gaming?

I'm putting together my first PC and would appreciate a second opinion before buying anything. I'm working with a budget of around $3,000, and the system will be used for both 3D modeling and gaming. I've selected parts that appear compatible, but I don't have enough experience to know whether everything will fit properly in the case or if there are any compatibility issues that could cause problems during assembly. Any advice on the component choices or potential headaches would be helpful.

For a build in this price range, I’d look at Intel’s 16th-generation processors or AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series rather than the older platform in your current parts list. An updated parts list using newer components may give you better performance and longevity for both 3D work and gaming.

That makes sense. I noticed the updated list also uses a different graphics card. Do you have a strong preference between Nvidia and Radeon for this kind of workload?
