I've been seeing a growing number of AI-generated posts and AI-promoted repositories lately. Could the moderators take a more active role in enforcing the rule against this kind of content? I'm concerned that the increasing amount of low-effort AI material will make the community less useful and may eventually drive people away.

Have you reported the posts you’re concerned about? That’s usually the most effective way to bring them to the moderators’ attention instead of just downvoting or ignoring them.
Downvoting and moving on is also an option, but the rule exists for a reason: the community may want to avoid low-effort AI-generated material. Whether something is AI-assisted or not, it still needs to be relevant and useful, and unrelated code would remain off-topic regardless of how it was written.
Moderators generally rely on members to report questionable posts. If you see something that appears to violate the rules, report it so it can be reviewed. They aren’t constantly monitoring every new post, and some reports turn out to be based on assumptions rather than an actual rule violation.

Exactly. The issue isn’t just whether AI was involved; the post still has to fit the community’s subject matter and provide something worthwhile.
