Can’t Access BIOS After Windows Update – Any Solutions?

I'm having trouble with my custom-built PC that's about four years old. After a recent Windows update, it refuses to boot and hangs on the motherboard manufacturer logo. I've tried repeatedly pressing the Delete, F2, and F8 keys without success. I've disconnected everything except for one monitor (connected via GPU HDMI) and a keyboard that lights up (Num Lock and Caps Lock work), but nothing seems to help. Here's what I've attempted so far: pressing the BIOS keys before turning it on, trying the HDMI port on the motherboard, disconnecting and reconnecting the GPU, and removing the CMOS battery for ten minutes before putting it back. My setup includes an ASUS PRIME B550M-K motherboard, AMD Ryzen 5 5600G processor, Kingston Fury Beast Black 32GB DDR4 RAM, WD SSD Blue SN570, GOODRAM CX400, and MSI Radeon RX 6600 graphics card. Any ideas on how to get into BIOS?

Have you tried accessing UEFI through Windows? If you manage to log in to Windows, you can go to Settings > System > Recovery > Advanced startup, then choose UEFI Firmware Settings to enter the BIOS that way!

I can't even get to the Windows login screen; it just freezes on the Asus logo!

For an ASUS Prime B550M-K, the usual way to enter BIOS is to turn off the computer, then turn it back on while tapping the Delete (DEL) or F2 key repeatedly. Make sure you’re really hammering the key because sometimes it takes a bit more than just one press!

Yeah, I’ve tried that, but smashing the key doesn’t seem to work either. It just stays on the logo.
