I'm having a really frustrating issue with my computer right now. For some reason, I can't delete columns in both Google Sheets and Excel spreadsheets. I can hide columns and delete content within them, but the delete column function just won't work. I've tried using the right-click option, the delete column button, and even keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl + Alt + Hyphen, but nothing happens. I've cleared my browsing history and cache, attempted to use a different account, and even restarted my HP Windows 11 computer. This is really getting in the way of my schoolwork. Can anyone help me figure out what's blocking this function?

You might want to try switching to a different browser or check in incognito mode. Sometimes browser extensions can mess with web apps like Google Sheets.
Before we dive into troubleshooting further, have you checked the permissions on your spreadsheet? If it's set to restricted or something, that could be why you're having this issue. Be sure to confirm there's no protection applied. If that checks out, then let’s dig deeper!
Have you tried just right-clicking the column you want to delete? The option should be right there. Maybe the usual method isn't working for you because of some glitch, but it should function if you do it that way. Just make sure you're selecting the whole column.
