After upgrading to Windows 11, I've been facing an issue where I can't type anything in the search bar. No matter what I do—clicking on the Windows icon or trying to search from the taskbar—nothing happens. I've already followed various tutorials to troubleshoot this, but I'm still stuck. What can I do to fix this?

Have you tried running the DISM and SFC tools? They can help fix issues with Windows images. You can find guides on how to use them online and it's worth a shot if you haven't already.

I think I already tried that, but let me give it another shot.

I ran sfc /scannow and completed the DISM checks, all came back clean. Unfortunately, it didn’t help after a restart.

Just checking, can you type in other applications? I helped my parents with a similar issue on their Dell laptops running Windows 11. Updating the BIOS fixed the typing problem for both of them. It might be worth checking for any BIOS updates.

Yes, I can type in other apps just fine if that's what you mean.
