I recently downloaded something from 4download and my Microsoft Defender flagged a threat called "doplik." I managed to quarantine the files using Malwarebytes and deleted everything. After doing some research and getting some help, all my diagnostics, including scans from Malwarebytes, show that my PC is now clean. I've changed all my passwords just in case any data was compromised while the trojan was active for about three hours. Do you think I'm in the clear? I would really appreciate any advice or personal experiences with this kind of situation!

Make sure to run a full deep scan with Windows Defender and double-check with Malwarebytes. Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) everywhere is a smart move. If you want peace of mind, you might consider doing a fresh install of Windows, but honestly, you might be fine without it!
The Doplik virus is indeed a Trojan Horse and can cause a lot of issues, like stealing data, logging keystrokes, and even taking control of your mic. Symptoms might include problems with network connections and issues with admin commands. To fully remove it, you should start by using Rkill to stop malicious processes, then run AdwCleaner to find and delete any remnants. Additionally, try the ESET Online Scanner for another layer of security. Always make sure your antivirus is up-to-date and do regular scans to keep your system safe!
I just ran rkill and AdwCleaner is running now. Rkill didn’t find much except some legitimate-looking files. So it's looking good!
Thanks for the advice, man! It helps a lot!
