Changes in Intune Enrollment Status Page: Issues with Device Enrollment?

I'm managing remote teams and need to enroll devices in Intune from afar. Typically, my steps are: adding MFA to user accounts, using TAP to enroll the device in Entra ID via the Settings app, logging out of local accounts, then logging into Microsoft 365 Work accounts. After that, the device enters Autopilot and shows the Enrollment Status Page. I usually wait until I can select 'Continue anyway' before logging in again, and then I perform a remote Intune Wipe since I've found that Entra ID enrolled devices built on existing OSs are prone to issues. However, I've recently encountered a problem where the enrollment process hangs at step six on the Enrollment Status Page, starting with Account Setup instead of Device Preparation—this is unusual for me. Can anyone shed light on why this might be happening? Historically, my process worked flawlessly, and the only instances where it didn't were when wiping the device using Windows Installation Media. I suspect something has changed on Microsoft's end, but I'm unsure what might be different now.

It sounds like you're overcomplicating things a bit. If you're going to wipe the device anyway, just upload the Autopilot hash using PowerShell and wipe it locally. This can streamline your process and bypass some steps, sending the device straight into Autopilot.

That's a solid suggestion! Though I don't have physical access to these devices since I manage them remotely through RMM. Enrollment is necessary for me to access the Intune Wipe option. Am I missing something here?
