I think I might have executed an AppImage that has a virus. Others are suggesting it's malicious. I'm using Arch Linux and I'd like to know what steps I can take to resolve this without having to do a full system reinstall.

If you're worried about a virus from an AppImage, try checking your system for any unusual activity. Just running an AppImage should be safe, but it's good to stay cautious. Maybe run some antivirus checks to be sure!
Could you mention which AppImage you ran and describe what kind of issues you’re experiencing? Usually, you shouldn't need to reinstall since AppImages don’t run with root permissions by default.
