Hey everyone! I'm a bit anxious about the temperatures I'm seeing on my new build. I recently put together a PC with the following specs: a Lian Li Lancool 217 case, a Ryzen 7 9800x3d CPU, an RTX 5070 GPU, a B850-plus WiFi motherboard, and a be Quiet! Pure Rock 3 Pro CPU cooler. During stress tests and CPU-intensive gaming, my CPU temperatures are hitting around 95.5 degrees, and sometimes even peak at 97 degrees. This seems high to me since I built a similar setup for a friend who is getting significantly cooler temps. I've already reapplied thermal paste and reseated the cooler, but no luck. I'm thinking about trying to undervolt the CPU, although that makes me a bit nervous. Are my temperatures within the normal range?

It sounds like there might be an issue with your cooler. I have the same CPU, and under full load, it rarely goes above 64C. I use a Phanteks 360D30 AIO in a well-ventilated case, so your temps seem really high. While the Ryzen 7 9800x3d can handle up to 95C, being at those temps consistently is unusual for a 120W CPU. You could have a faulty cooler or improper installation.
