Could My BIOS Really Be Compromised?

I've been dealing with a serious issue where it seems like my laptop's BIOS might be compromised. I already tried reflashing the operating system using a USB stick, but it seems like hackers are still using my Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8 as a server. I even removed the battery to try and prevent it from working further. Is there any way to fix the BIOS, or am I completely out of luck?

What makes you think your BIOS is hacked? Did you notice anything specific? It might be worth checking if there are any signs of physical tampering or malware. Sometimes errors can look like a hack, but they might just be system issues.

I got an error that said 'can’t find windows/system32/maintenance.vbs', which made me look into my registry. That’s when I found out some software was controlling my PC remotely. Even after I reinstalled everything and created new partitions, I still came back to find more malicious files.
