Could This 990 Pro SSD From Amazon Be Fake?

I bought a 990 Pro SSD for £300, which seems to be the usual price. However, upon inspecting the SSD, I noticed that some digits on the sticker are hard to read, particularly the '8' in the PSID and SN. Is this just a printing defect from the factory, or could it indicate that the SSD is fake?

This looks like a real drive to me. If you're still unsure, checking with the Samsung Magician tool should clear things up.

Just a heads up, the 4's and A versions usually don't have a hole in the center; they are filled in instead. It could be a sign to look out for.

You should definitely run the Samsung Magician tool; it should detect the SSD without any issues.

I know this isn’t your main question, but can you tell us who the seller was? That might be helpful in figuring this out.
