Lately, I've been experiencing a frustrating problem with my PC where it occasionally shows the infamous black screen, especially when using my AMD graphics card. This happens about once a day, though it can vary, and it causes my main monitor to go black while the second monitor freezes, with audio continuing for about 10 seconds. The only way I can fix it is to reboot, which only provides a temporary solution that lasts from a few hours to a few days depending on what I'm doing. I'm considering upgrading to a 9070XT along with a better PSU to resolve this issue. Do you think this will fix the problem, or is it more of an AMD-specific issue that would be better solved by switching to an Nvidia card instead? Here are my current specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 7600
- GPU: Radeon RX 6700XT
- PSU: Corsair RM750W
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 6000MHz
- Motherboard: NZXT B850 AM5

Have you tried reinstalling or updating your drivers? Sometimes these black screens can be related to drivers not playing nicely with your hardware. It's worth a shot!

Yes, I've already updated the drivers. In the past, I'd wait it out, but the black screen still happened, which led to a driver error. I just did another reinstallation with DDU today.
