Did I accidentally delete critical system files? What should I do now?

I was trying to clear out some old files from software I don't use anymore, like Steam VR and Oculus Link. While deleting, I encountered a bunch of files I wasn't sure about. I consulted ChatGPT, and it gave the green light to delete them. However, some files kept giving me a permissions error, so I just skipped those. Now, I'm worried I may have deleted critical files from the system32 folder. My computer seems to be running fine, but I need to check if I deleted anything important. Any advice on what steps to take next?

To be safe, I recommend running Windows Recovery Tool to repair your system. Also, stop relying on ChatGPT for tech advice—it’s not always reliable!
