Did I Score a Good Deal on My New 5080?

I just bought a Zotac 5080 for €1070 on Amazon Germany, even though I'm in Italy. The product is new and sold directly by Amazon. I'm wondering, is this a good price? Also, are there any scams I should be aware of? I've heard of people removing VRAM and returning the card, but I hope Amazon wouldn't sell something as 'new' if it's already been tampered with. If the card arrives and I run some benchmarks, would I be able to spot any issues? I have a 14-day return window, which gives me some peace of mind. Thanks for any advice!

When you get the card, use GPU-Z to check the details. And definitely run some benchmarks like Cyberpunk 2077 on PathTracing. It should be good, but testing will confirm it.

Thanks! I'm just worried about the price-to-value ratio for this model. I probably should have researched more before buying, but I got a bit of FOMO.

Scams are usually more of a concern for Americans, so you probably don't need to worry too much. If the VRAM or chip were removed, the card probably wouldn’t work at all. You might get a used card, but that's about it. I’ve had no issues buying PC parts from Amazon Germany, and €1070 is a solid price. Enjoy your new GPU!

Isn’t there usually a seal on the box? I’m new to GPUs and want to make sure I’m the first to open it.
