Did I score a good deal on my new RTX 5070 for $550?

Hey everyone! I just picked up an RTX 5070 for $550 after looking at prices for a month. I've been in dire need of an upgrade from my old 1080, but the current market has been tough. The 9070xt and 5070ti seem like better options, but I haven't found either for under $850, which feels steep. I'm thinking of pairing the 5070 with a Ryzen 7800x3d for my CPU-intensive games to maximize my high refresh rate monitor. Any recommendations or thoughts? I haven't built a PC since I got my 1080, so I'm a bit out of the loop!

I wish I could say I’m super happy about it, but there’s a little buyer’s remorse creeping in!

Scoring a GPU at MSRP these days feels like winning the lottery! You did better than most people out there.

For that price, the 5070 is probably the best card you can snag brand new right now. I was eyeing one myself but got a 9070xt for $700. Glad you got a sweet deal!

Nice! I heard great things about the 9070xt—sounds like quite the upgrade!

Yep, you got a good deal! Just make sure you check out a solid CPU to go with it, maybe even consider adding some more storage or RAM for the ultimate setup!

Will do! I’m looking for something that really balances out the GPU—thanks for the tip!

Honestly, you did great! It's really challenging to find GPUs at MSRP these days, especially for the 5070. You'll be super happy with its performance.

Exactly! It's all about getting a fair price. Definitely not a bad move!

Right? Most new GPUs are solid if you can get them at a fair price—avoiding the scalpers is key!
