Do I Need a CPU Upgrade for Better Gaming Performance?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my GPU from a 7600 to a 5070, but I'm noticing some issues. I'm using a 5800xt CPU and while playing Marvel Rivals, my CPU is maxing out at 100% usage, but my GPU is only at 27% usage. Should I consider upgrading my CPU as well, or are there any settings I can tweak to improve performance? I'm aiming to play in 1440p with high settings if possible!

Yeah, it sounds like you might need a better CPU for Marvel Rivals. A good indicator of a CPU bottleneck is if your GPU usage is below 98%. If your CPU is hitting near 100% while the GPU is lagging, that can definitely create a bottleneck. Remember, the CPU needs to feed the GPU with data, so if it can't keep up, your GPU won't be utilized fully.

At 1440p, your CPU and GPU should work well together, but keep in mind that Marvel Rivals isn't very well-optimized. Setting a framerate cap around 120 and increasing the graphics settings could help you get a better experience.
