I'm trying to figure out whether I really need a degree to secure a job in web development. I've been considering bootcamps, but I feel a bit lost on how to start. I've also downloaded some courses from Udemy, but they don't come with any certification. Any advice would be appreciated!

Bootcamps can absolutely help you land a job; I've seen several people do it without a degree. The most important thing is having a solid portfolio to showcase your skills. Employers really care about your ability to code, especially when they test you during interviews. Those Udemy courses are useful for learning, but in the end, what you build matters more than any certificate.

Is this advice from today or are we still stuck in the past?
