Do I need an X3D motherboard for my Ryzen 9 9850X3D?

I'm looking to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 9850X3D and am considering the Aorus Master motherboard. However, I've seen some videos suggesting that the 9850, 9800, and 7800 X3D processors don't really benefit much from the X3D feature. Can anyone confirm if that's true? Also, if you have experience using the X870e Aorus Elite, Pro, or Master, how has it been for you, especially with the BIOS?

I mainly use my PC for gaming and document editing, and I'm relying on Wi-Fi instead of Ethernet. I'm not very familiar with USB speeds, so any advice on that would also be appreciated!

Honestly, X3D mode isn't really worth it; it disables SMT and can lead to lower performance rather than a boost. If you're unsure what features you actually need in a motherboard, I'd suggest going for something more budget-friendly that can deliver similar gaming performance. If you have access to Micro Center, look into buying a bundle there—it could save you some cash!

That’s what I was thinking too. Why spend on a motherboard with extras like dual 10GB Ethernet when I probably won’t use them?
