Do I Need JavaScript to Be a Front-End Developer?

I'm aiming to become a front-end developer, and I've already got the basics of HTML and CSS down. However, I'm not keen on learning JavaScript right now, and my Python skills are pretty minimal. I'm wondering if it's feasible to focus just on HTML and CSS, or if there's a better path I should be considering. What do you all think?

If you want to be a front-end dev, JavaScript is pretty crucial nowadays. It'll give your web pages functionality. Have you thought about checking out TypeScript? It's kinda like JavaScript but with some added features that make coding easier. If you really don’t want to dive into JavaScript, maybe consider focusing more on web design instead.
