I'm looking to add a PCIe WiFi card to my PC, but I have a bit of confusion. My motherboard doesn't have the USB 2.0 header for connecting WiFi/Bluetooth cards. Can I just use the WiFi functionality without connecting the USB part, and will it still work without Bluetooth? Or should I specifically buy a WiFi-only PCIe card? I'm new to building PCs, so any advice would be appreciated!

You can absolutely use a PCIe WiFi adapter without connecting the USB part. Just plug the card into the PCIe slot, boot up your PC, and install any necessary drivers. The WiFi should work perfectly fine on its own without needing the Bluetooth connection.

Here's a good PCIe WiFi card you can check out on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Bluetooth-Ultra-Low-Archer-TX3000E/dp/B07ZV2CJL2. It works smoothly without the USB connection!
