Hey everyone! I recently built my PC and currently have an RTX 2070 Super, but I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU to an RX 9070 XT paired with a 9800X3D. My question is whether I need to upgrade my power supply, or if my existing Corsair RM750x will be sufficient. I've seen that a 750W power supply should work, but I want to be safe and hear your thoughts on this.

If you're really concerned, undervolting the RX 9070 XT can help reduce power consumption. Alternatively, if you want definite peace of mind, you could consider upgrading to an 850W supply.

The 9800X3D has a maximum power draw of about 162W, while the RX 9070 XT can pull around 304W. So, a total of 466W for both won't be a problem for a quality 750W PSU.

I think it should work just fine. Most setups with a 750W PSU and those components run smoothly.

Your 750W power supply is a solid unit and should be able to handle the demands of both the 9800X3D and RX 9070 XT without any issues, even under load during gaming.

Just to let you know, my RX 9070 XT does hit almost 400W under heavy workloads. Your PSU should be okay, but if it's getting older, it might be wise to consider a replacement in the long run.
