Do I need two power cables for my 9800x3D CPU?

I realized I might have made a mistake while setting up my system. I'm currently powering my 9800x3D CPU with just one 8-pin power cable. Is this sufficient, or should I have another 8-pin cable connected?

Yeah, one 8-pin is perfectly fine for AMD CPUs, even if you overclock them. They don't typically require two cables. Just make sure your PSU is decent enough to supply power without any hiccups.

You're good to go with just one 8-pin cable for your 9800x3D. This CPU actually draws less than half of what a single 8-pin can handle, so it shouldn't be an issue at all.
