I'm assembling my first PC build using PCPartPicker, and I've received two compatibility warnings: I need a USB 2.0 to USB 3.2 Gen 1 header adapter and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 to USB 3.2 Gen 2 header adapter. I'm working with an MSI B550 GAMING GEN3 ATX AM4 motherboard and a Thermaltake View 270 Plus TG ARGB ATX Mid Tower case, both of which I've already purchased. Should I go ahead and buy these adapters? If so, could someone provide links?

Here's a handy link I found that might help you with the USB compatibility: https://old.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/koujfv/question_about_usb_32_gen_1_to_usb_32_gen_2/
You only need those adapters if you plan on using the front USB-C port. Even with the adapters, you'll find the connection might not be as fast as you’d like. If you don't mind skipping the front USB-C, you could just stick with the regular USB ports without needing the adapters.
So if I don’t get the adapters, I can still use other USB ports like mouse and keyboard, right?
Yeah, you’re good with the regular ports! Just not the USB-C.

Thanks for the link!
