I'm looking for some advice on whether the following PC parts are compatible since I want to build a gaming PC. I play modded Minecraft, Roblox, Valorant, and Phasmophobia, but I also want to be able to handle bigger games in the future. Here are the parts I'm considering: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, ASUS ROG STRIX B860-A GAMING WIFI motherboard, KINGSTON Fury Beast Black Expo16GB DDR5, KINGSTON NV3 1TB SSD, ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5060 Ti OC, and MSI MAG A650BNL 650W 120mm 80 Plus Bronze. I initially had other parts in mind but couldn't find them or they were too expensive. Just to clarify, I meant to type B650 for the motherboard, not B860. Any insights would be really appreciated!

You shouldn't pair a Ryzen CPU with a B860 motherboard, as the B860 is designed for Intel chips. You need an AMD motherboard to support your Ryzen 7 7700X. A B650 or X670 would be a better fit for that CPU.
It's essential to use the right motherboard for your CPU. If you aim for a B650, you'll be in good shape! Just double-check your power supply wattage and consider going higher if you're planning to upgrade components later on.
Yup, you definitely need an AMD motherboard for the Ryzen 7. A B650 is a solid choice. Also, keep in mind that for the 650W power supply, you might want to aim for a 750W instead. I recommend considering the RX 9070 if it’s similarly priced to the 5060 Ti. And make sure you get two RAM sticks; you'll want them in slots 1 and 3 for optimal performance!
Okay!! This is super helpful, thank you!

Ohh okay, I thought they could work together since I saw that on PC Part Picker. Got any suggestions for a good motherboard?
