Do we need a new power supply for our new GPUs?

I'm looking for advice regarding our recent GPU upgrades. My partner bought two ASUS TUF 3070 Ti OC graphics cards but received them with a three-adapter instead of the necessary cable. My PC is equipped with a Corsair RM850x power supply (non-Shift version), so I think it should be fine. However, my partner's PC has an EVGA Supernova 850W G3 power supply, and I can't find much information about it. This power supply was previously recommended by NVIDIA when I bought him a 2080 Ti. Can someone let us know if we will need to get a new Corsair power supply or if we just need the right cable? Last time, upgrading the GPU was straightforward for us. We would really appreciate any help! Thank you! 😀

You shouldn't need an adapter for that GPU. An 850W G3 is perfectly adequate for the ASUS TUF 3070 Ti. Just double-check the connectors on the card—make sure you have the right cables to plug it in directly, and you should be good to go!

Thanks for the reassurance! What specific cables should we look for to make sure it's compatible?
