I'm planning to upgrade my setup with an Intel i5-12600 CPU and I'm considering adding an AMD RX 9070 XT graphics card along with a Corsair RM850x power supply. I've done some research and it seems like everything should work together, but I want to double-check that the connectors and wattage will support this setup.

Yes, it does support it. But I'm curious, why does the RM850x have two 4+4-pin (EPS12V) connectors if normally CPUs only need one?
Absolutely, the Corsair RM850x should work just fine with the AMD RX 9070 XT. It has more than enough wattage to handle your CPU and GPU.
Thank you! That's reassuring to hear.

Good question! The extra connector is there for motherboards that need more power, especially for higher-end setups.
