Does the Ryzen 5 5600 come with thermal paste?

Hey everyone! I'm planning on getting a new CPU cooler since I don't want to use the stock one that comes with the Ryzen 5 5600. I'm wondering if it includes a tube of thermal paste or if I need to buy that separately?

Just to be safe, it's a good idea to pick up some thermal paste anyway. It doesn't cost much, and you'll have it on hand for any future needs, like reapplying.

To clarify, the thermal paste is typically already on the stock cooler with AMD CPUs. For aftermarket coolers, they usually include paste, but it's always good to have some extra for reapplications!

The stock cooler for the Ryzen 5 5600 actually has thermal paste pre-applied. If you buy an aftermarket cooler, it usually either comes with thermal paste included or has some pre-applied as well.
