I've recently noticed some faint lines on my iPhone screen. I haven't powered down my phone since early last December, so I'm wondering if that could be part of the problem. Typically, these lines aren't very noticeable, and I've experienced similar issues before, which usually seem to fix themselves over time. If I want to try and get rid of these lines, would just turning my phone off and then on again help, or should I bring it to an Apple Store for a restart? My iPhone is running the latest iOS version. Just curious about what the best approach is!

If the lines are barely noticeable, it might not be a serious hardware issue. You can try a restart, but I wouldn't bet on it fixing anything substantial. If the lines persist, definitely see Apple for a deeper check.
Just clarifying, if you haven't dropped your phone, but it slid down and hit the cup holder, that's still a form of impact. It might not seem like a drop, but it could have caused some internal issues.
Turning your phone on and off won't really solve the issue with the lines—those often point to a hardware problem. It's probably best to get it checked out at an Apple Store so they can diagnose it properly.
